How to avoid the holiday 15

We are in the thick of our holiday season.

So far I’ve had 7 people drop off treats to my family.

Trust me I’m not complaining… 😋

And I’m guilty of expressing my holiday cheer by dropping off goodies to friends and family as well (🤫 don’t tell them that one of the chocolate chip cookies was actually made with sweet potatoes 😬)

So what’s a girl to do when her counter is full of yummy treats?

How do I avoid the holiday 15?!

My top 3 tips to avoid the Holiday 15:

1. Do not stress when it comes to food choices. There is plenty to stress about during the holiday season don’t add food to the list.

2. Enjoy the treats. Yes you read that correctly ENJOY the treats. Don’t over indulge but actually allow yourself to enjoy and savor each treat you eat.

3. Last but not least don’t just mindlessly eat. Put the treats on a plate when you want to eat them. That way you’re not just continually reaching for them. It will make you more conscious of how many you’re eating and this allows you to do number 1 and 2 which is the ability to eat them stress free and enjoy them.

And if nothing else just follow rule number 2!
